  • The Master of Optometry Internship Program provides a comprehensive learning experience that prepares graduates to excel in clinical practice, research, and professional leadership roles within the field of optometry.
  • Clinical Programme & Dissertation Project (6 months) Following the initial pre-clinical training, each trainee will rotate through a diverse array of comprehensive and subspecialty clinics. This period offers hands-on experience in real-world clinical settings, allowing trainees to apply theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios. Candidates will undertake rotational placements in the following departments. Initially observational, and subject to continuous evaluation, candidates will receive individual assignments under the guidance of Opthalmologist/Optometrists: • Outpatient Department (OPD) • Inpatient Department (IPD) • Operating Theater • Ophthalmic Diagnostics Department • Pediatric and Orthoptics Department • Contact Lens Clinic (CL Clinic) • Low Vision Care Clinic (LVC Clinic) • Optical Services ? Additionally, trainees will undertake an in-depth dissertation project. This involves selecting a research topic of interest within the field of optometry and conducting thorough investigation and analysis.
