  • Introduction This intensive training program in Cornea/ Cataract and Refractive Surgery is designed for international ophthalmologists seeking to enhance their expertise in cataract management, management of anterior segment disorders such as keratoconus, dry eyes and correction of refractive error. Preference will be given to candidates having clinical experience (preferably in a cornea unit of a multispecialty hospital, as senior resident or junior consultant) before joining. The curriculum is meticulously structured to provide comprehensive training in the diagnosis, medical & surgical management, and research aspects of corneal diseases, external eye conditions and refractive surgery. Eligibility Criteria

  • Essential Qualifications: International candidates in possession of Post Graduate qualification in Ophthalmology in modern medicine stream (MS Ophthalmology or equivalent). Post Graduate Diploma holders (DO/ DOMS & Equivalent) may also apply. The applicant must be registered to practice ophthalmology independently in his own country. Desirable Qualification : Ophthalmologists already comfortable with handling operating microscope and having clinical experience (preferably in a cornea unit of a multispecialty hospital, as senior resident or junior consultant) at their hospital/ institute/ center.
